I’m standing in front of the Scottish Ornithologists Club. It’s a cute single-storey building in the countryside, with a beautifully tendered garden full of small shrubs and flowers
I’m standing in front of Aberlady bay, a gorgeous sweeping beach stretching far off into the distance. It’s a sunny day and there’s some scattered clouds overhead.
